Confirmed: Samsung Gear 360 priced at $350

Ever since the Gear 360 was announced people have wondered what the price of Samsung’s first foray into 360 degree cameras would be. On the one hand the specifications make it one of the best 360 cameras  to be developed yet, but Samsung is also keen to get as many people making 360 videos as possible.

Now it has been confirmed that the Gear 360 will cost $350 and will be ‘available soon’ on the BHphoto website. Samsung has previously stated that the camera will be released in Q2 of 2016, which could be any time from now till June.

A price of $350 makes the Gear 360 one of the cheaper 360 degree camera options. The top notch spec’s of the camera means that Samsung will enter the market with the best value for money device, although Samsung may face stiff competition from LG who have priced their LG 360 Cam at $200, albeit with less impressive hardware.
